رابطة المرأة والأسرة الخليجية (وفا) هي إحدى جمعيات ومؤسسات مجلس العلاقات الخليجية الدولية (كوغر). وهي أول جمعية دولية خليجية نسائية اسرية في منطقة الخليج. وتعمل من أجل  الدفاع  والارتقاء بقضايا المرأة والطفل والأسرة. وتسعى (وفا) الى بناء علاقات متميزة مع الحكومات، المراكز، الجمعيات المدنية الشخصيات، الهيئات الدولية، من أجل  التصدي لكل ما يسئ  وينتقص من كرامة وإنسانية المرأة والطفل ويهدد ويفكك وحدة وتماسك الأسرة

  In addition of being the first Gulf women in Arabian Gulf region, Gulf Women and Family Association, WFA, is one of the associations that work under the main mother organization, Council of Gulf International Relations,  COGIR. Its mission is to raise the awareness of  women, child and family's rights. It advocates for equality and justice for women in addition to build alliances across differences based on age, sectors, social movements, regions, issues, and communities in order to build a stronger movement for women’s rights in Gulf

 ترى (وفا) ان على مؤسسات المجتمع المدني دور كبير في مساعدة المرأة والنهوض بها لتكون عضوا فاعلا بالمجتمع. ومن هذا المنطلق فان (وفا) تؤمن بأن المجتمع لن يكون مجتمعا واعيا وناهضا وفاعلا الا بتحقيق كافة أشكال التنمية والتثقيف والدعم للمرأة. كما تؤمن (وفا) بأن من أسباب استقرار الاسرة والأطفال وسعادتهم، يكمن في استقرار المرأة نفسها، فالأم مدرسة اذ أعددتها أعدت شعبا طيب الأعراق. فلا استقرار للأسرة من دون استقرار للمرأة. ولهذا فان (وفا) ترى ان عنصري المجتمع الصالح هما المرأة ككائن مكمل للرجل، والأسرة كوحدة من وحدات المجتمع ولهذا كان اسمها رابطة المرأة والأسرة الخليجية.

 Our vision in WFA is seeking to be one of the main actors in building a strong foundation of women, child and family issues at the grass-root level and it shall work on informing the public to create awareness on women's concepts and principles. WFA also works to protect the rights of the child and family. WFA believes that woman is the second half of man and the man is the second half if woman. In additions to that, woman and family are the main elements for the education and civilized society.

رصد الانتهاكات والاساءات المتعلقة بكرامة وانسانية المرأة والطفل والتعامل معها وفق القوانين

رصد الخروقات التي تنتهك القوانين والبنود الموضوعة من أجل حماية المرأة والطفل والاسرة والتعامل معها وفق القانون

العمل من أجل الارتقاء بقدرات ومستوى المرأة في كل المجالات وتعزيز مشاركتها في المجتمع.

غرس مفهوم الأسرة الصالحة والمتماسكة والعمل على تطبيق هذا المفهوم وفق الشرائع السماوية والتربية الحديثة.

التعاون والتنسيق مع المنظمات المدنية الدولية والاقليمية والحكومية، لوقف الانتهاكات ضد المرأة والطفل، وتقديم الاقتراحات ومشاريع القوانين التي تضمن وتقوي مفهوم الأسرة وتحمي الطفل والمرأة

 Promoting and encouraging discussion and debate on all issues pertinent to the advancement of women.

 Promoting research and the collection, evaluation, dissemination and interchange of information and other material relevant to issues of pertinence to women.

Linking and improving communication between women's organizations.

Monitoring and from time to time reporting on the situation of women.

Sponsoring or contributing towards lectures, scholarships, prizes or other awards, or contributions advancing the interests of women.

Co-operating with and promoting co-operation among persons, trusts, corporations, institutions, governments and other bodies in Arabian Gulf regions or elsewhere to advance the interests of women.
