What is WFA
The Gulf Woman & Family Association (WFA) is a grassroots organization of the Arabian Gulf States (AGS) volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Arabian Gulf and Islamic civilized values, (WFA) strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.
The (WFA) network is made up of women and families of all races and all ages from all socioeconomic backgrounds, origins, religions and communities in (AGS).
Since its founding in 2005, (WFA) goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women. It works to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace, schools, the justice system, and all other sectors of society; secure reproductive rights for all women; end all forms of violence against women; children; families; eradicate racism, and promote equality and justice in the (AGS) society
What are our aims
The (WFA) Network focuses on these seven key activity areas which are primarily carried out by teams.

What is our mission
The mission of (WFA) Network is to raise awareness of the importance and voluble role of woman and family in the house, organizations and society in the (AGS). In addition, (WFA) strives for social justice, social quality of life for women, children, and families and finally the social, political and economic rights for woman.

WFA Launched COGIR's International Campaign to Support Gaza
WFA has launched COGIR's International Campaign to Support Gaza. The campaign aims to raise international awareness about the Israeli ground offence attacking Gaza Strip and stop killing innocent children, women and civilians in order to pressure the international community to review its sanctions policy and end its support for continued Israeli occupation.
WFA condemns Gaza blockade
WFA has condemned the Israeli blockade of Gaza Strip and expressed concern at the adverse effects of Israel’s closure of access points into the area, assuring that the collective punishment of the population of Gaza is illegal under international law.. Suhaila AL-Salem, chairwoman of (WFA) said that the actions of the Israeli government, which aim to destroy the Palestinian people, including children, women and senior citizens who are suffering the illegal occupation of their territory and are a target of inhumane collective punishment imposed once again by the occupational forces.
WFA launched a new campaign to support women in Arabian Gulf State
In order to exert its utmost efforts to support women in Gulf, WFA has launched a new campaign to urge Gulf governments to sufficiently support Gulf women politically and socially and stop all aspects of violence. a delegate of the campaign met with officials from Gulf governments and delivered them letters to the Kings and Amirs of Gulf states, requesting them personally to offer their support to the women in Gulf
